Известны устройства, концентрирующие солнечную энергию и состо щ.ие из нескольких фацет, которые собраны на каркасе и установлены на треноге с механизмами наведени  и теплоприемником, расположенным в фокусе концентратора. Однако известные устройства трудны в сборке, вследствие большого размера каркаса, индивидуальной сборки и юстировки каждой фацеты.
