Ultrasonic flowmeters are known from the main autom. No. 443348, which contain an acoustic emitter operating in a continuous sinusoidal mode and generating oscillations in the test medium propagating in and against the direction of flow. These vibrations are received by two acoustic receivers located symmetrically on either side of the radiator. Ultrasonic flowmeters of this type are characterized by the dependence of the readings on the temperature, pressure and composition of the fluid and the instability of the readings caused by some asymmetry of the races; the position of the receivers relative to the radiator in real devices. The purpose of the invention is to improve the measurement accuracy. The indicated target is aaetc by introducing a third additional receiver located at the distance less than the ultrasonic wavelength in the medium under investigation from the radiator. The drawing shows the scheme of the proposed downhole flowmeter. The device contains an acoustic emitter 1, main acoustic receivers 2kZ, an additional acoustic receiver 4, acoustic insulators 5 and 6, and fairings 7 and 8. The principle of operation of the proposed flow meter consists in in-phase input of oscillations into the controlled medium by emitter 1, followed by recording them with acoustic receivers 2k3, located symmetrically on both sides of the radiator 1. In this case, the phase difference of the oscillations at the receivers 2 and 3 turned out to be directly proportional to the flow velocity. The position of the additional receiver 4 relative to the radiator e 1 is determined based on the condition: the phase difference of the oscillations by the radiators of the additional receiver must be less than 21 ° C (c, the additional receiver is set from the radiator: at a distance shorter than
