Description

It was filed on July 19, 1935, No. 173193, with the addition of application N5 174209 of the same number

Published January 31, 1937.

The use of oil in the manufacture of electroplating cells is not new. For example, in German patent number 444521-1927, it is proposed to glue the depolarization mixture with some hardening oil, in particular, boiled flax. This achieves the ability to consume unbounded agglomerators.

The German patent JV ° 484262–1929 proposes the use of the same oil for oiling cork flour introduced into a depolarization mixture for porosity. As is well known, the addition of non-oiled cork flour to a manganese-graphite mixture makes the latter unsuitable for pressing agglomerators.

Масло играло пассивную роль цемента в том смысле, что оно не участвовало в физико-химических процессах получени  и сохранени  заключенной в элементе электрической энергии (мощности).Thus, the use of oil in the production of elements, as described above, has thus far served to simplify labor processes in the production of agglomerates. Oil played a passive role of cement in the sense that it did not participate in the physicochemical processes of obtaining and preserving the electrical energy (power) contained in the element.

The present invention also relates to the use in the manufacture of electroplating elements of the oil and is characterized in that non-solidifying oil is introduced into the thickened electrolyte.

и наноситс  на поверхность цмиаиьиги полюса, как активный участник физикохимических процессов получени  и сохранени  электрической энергии (мощности ) элемента, а именно, как депол ризатор и защитный коллоид.and it is applied to the surface of the pole polyamygygi as an active participant in the physicochemical processes of obtaining and preserving the electrical energy (power) of the element, namely, as a depolarizer and protective colloid.

The method for producing dry galvanic cells according to the invention can be carried out approximately as follows. A depolarization mixture of elements with a bag agglomerator, for example, a common manganese-graphite mixture, a graphite-coal mixture of air depolarization elements, etc., is moistened to the necessary degree with an electrolyte containing dispersed, for example, mineral transformer oil.

When the manganese-graphite mixture is mixed, the oil particles touch the manganese ore and, apparently, its most unstable modifications (higher oxides, individual molecules of the groups) are apparently deacidified, and the oxygenated oxygen is stably sorbed.

The ore particles are coated with the thinnest oil films, and the particles of graphite, due to their well-known physical properties (for example, their relation to the oil pulp), remain unwetted with oil.
