The invention relates to the field of corrosion testing of materials, and specifically to methods for determining the corrosion resistance of welded joints of zirconium alloys.

Однако известный способ не позвол ет получить быструю информацию о коррозионной стойкости сварных соединений .The corrosion test of zirconium alloys is known, in that the test sample is placed in an electrolyte, heated and polarized by applying an anodic current. However, the known method does not provide quick information about the corrosion resistance of welded joints.

The proposed method differs from that known in that the polarization is carried out in the potential range selected from the condition that the base metal of the sample is in a passive state, the sample is kept in this potential range, and the corrosion properties of the welded joint are judged by the color change of the oxide film. This allows an accelerated assessment of the corrosion resistance of welded joints.

According to the proposed procedure, a test specimen of a welded joint is placed in an electrolyte, in which the base metal of the welded joint is obviously racks, heated to a temperature close to the temperature at

которой эксплуатируетс  сплав, анодно пол ризуют до потенциала несколько менее ноложительного , чем нотенциал выхода из пассивного состо ни  основного металла в этом электролите, выдерживают образец при этом потенциале и о сравнительной стойкости отдельных участков соединени  суд т по качеству образовавшихс  на этих участках окисных пленок.by which the alloy is exploited, anodically polarized to a potential somewhat less positive than the output potential of the passive state of the base metal in this electrolyte, the sample is maintained at this potential and the comparative stability of individual sections of the compound is judged by the quality of the oxide films formed on these sections.
