The invention relates to a testing technique, in particular to devices for testing materials on the impact of a plane shock wave.
Shock test devices are known that contain a shock, a striker for acting on a test specimen, and a striker accelerator located between the impactor and the striker. The accelerator is made in the interior of a number of elastic bodies, the mass of which is successively decreasing in the direction from the impactor to the striker. After the impactor collides with the first of the accelerator bodies, it acquires a speed exceeding the speed of the impactor and strikes the second body, and the speed is reported to it, is greater than that of the first one, and so on. However, this effect occurs only during elastic collisions. The maximum speed obtained in known devices is limited to 50 m / s, because with an increase in the velocity of the impact beyond this limit, plastic deformations occur in the contact area. This limits the magnitude of the amplitude of the load acting on the sample.
In order to increase the load in the proposed device, the accelerator is made in the form of a plate made of a material whose elastic modulus is lower than that of the material of the impactor, and the striker is in the form of a plate fixed to
На чертеже изображено предлагаемое устройство .slab with the possibility of separation upon impact. The drawing shows the proposed device.
3.The striker 1 before impact was fixed (for example, pasted) on the nlpta 2, which was installed at a small distance from sample 3.
When the impactor 4, which is moving at speed o, collides with plate 2, a plane wave begins to propagate in it, which, having reached the opposite side of plate 2, informs it and the striker 1

где рп, Vn, ру, Vy - плотности и скорости распространени ударных волн в материалах плиты и ударника соответственно.where pn, Vn, py, Vy are the densities and velocities of the propagation of shock waves in the materials of the slab and the impactor, respectively.
With the ratio pn,, Vy, the speed of the striker 1 will be greater than the speed of the striker 4 (for example, for a steel striker 4 and a plate 2 made of aluminum,,). This effect takes place both during elastic and plastic deformation of plt 2, which allows the proposed device to be used at any speed, moving shock 4 up to almost 6 km / s, and, therefore, significantly increase the amplitude of the load.
