Известно устройство дл обрезки сучьев с пачки деревьев, включающее неподвижную раму с подвижными в вертикальных направл ющих ножами и поворотную в вертикальной плоскости балку с ножами. Однако из-за отсутстви механизма принудительного прижима ножей к стволам обрабатываемых деревьев качество обрезки сучьев известным устройством низкое. Повышение качества обрезки сучьев достигаетс за счет того, что каждый нож балки и рамы выполнен V-образной формы с режущими кромками, образующими пр мой угол, ось симметрии которого расположена в плоскости , перпендикул рной продольной оси соответственно балки и рамы, а на свободных концах вертикальных направл ющих и на основани х подвижных ножей смонтированы блоки с запасованньш в них тросом принудительного прижима ножей к стволам обрабатываемых деревьев. Устройство состоит из нижней неподвижной рамы 1 с установленными на ней подвижными ножами 2, поворотной в вертикальной плоскости балки 3 с ножами 4, вертикальных направл ющих 5, жестко закрепленных на раме 1, блоков 6, смонтированных на свободных концах направл ющих 5 и на основани х подвижных ножей 2, троса 7 принудительного прижима ножей 2 к стволам обрабатываемых деревьев, запасованпого в блоки 6 и св занного с приводом 8, и гидроцилиндра 9 привода поворотной балки 3.
