In the proposed device, this disadvantage is eliminated, thanks to the fact that the slope of the platform is complete with a turntable, at the ends of which the gripping levers are mounted, and with the stop mechanism. The device works as follows.

The pusher 1 resets the log. First, the rotary platform reaches the com ... left part of the log, and the mouth and the vertex. As soon as the top 1} part of the log presses the lever 9, freeing the ratchet wheel 8 of the turntable, the latter gets the opportunity to turn. When the platform is rotated, the log is prevented from rolling by the grippers 6, which at the end of the rotation enter the recesses of the floor. As a result, the log is laid on the guides of a different conveyor. The chains of the cross conveyor, capturing the log at their movement, the research institute, release the grippers of the turntable, and it returns to its original position under the action of the springs 7. The lever 9 is engaged with the ratchet wheel 8, and the turntable is ready to receive the next log.
