Description

The method of cutting into dovetail sections going under the plaster is already known, which serve to better adhere the plaster to the boards and replace the shingles commonly used in such cases. Similarly, it is known to use inclined to each other set circular saws for cutting said tracks. In the proposed machine for the formation of such paths, axes obliquely spaced to each other on the boards running under the plaster are placed in two rows in the crossbars of the frame carrying the motor and drive from it and being moved by hand along the laid on the boards to be processed.

The proposed machine is mounted on a frame / equipped with wheels 29 moving along rails 26 of a special frame / 5 (Figs. 1, 2. 5). The frame 7 bears crossbars 2 - 2 (Fig. 1-4), arranged in two inclined to each other row and bearing axes 3 of circular saws 4.

The axles 3 are provided with bevel gears 6 coupled with gears 13 on the shaft 12, and nuts 7 serving to hold the saws 4 on their axes. The shaft (2) carrying the gears (13) is also provided with gears (11) coupled with gear wheels (10) on the shaft (9), which is rotated by the motor (8) mounted on the frame /. The frame / also carries gears 22, having axes in the walls of the frame 7 and coupled with the chain 21.

Before working installation of the machine, the boards 14 are laid on the table 77 (Figs. 4, 5) and mounted on nails 28, protruding with the tips above the table 77. On the boards 14 a special frame 18 is installed, the wheels 29 of the frame 7 moving along the guide rails 26 After installing the frame 18 at proper angle to the axis of the planks 14, the motor 8 is rotated, and the saws 4 of the frame 7, moved by means of chains 21 coupled with gears 22, are cut into the planks 7 of the track 76 (Fig. 4) with a cross section in the form of a dovetail. After the cutting of the first tracks 1-1 (Fig. 6), the frame 18 receives on the sliding articulated rollers 23 connected by ropes with the handles 24 lateral movements, after which the saws 4 cut the following tracks 1-1 parallel to the original one, etc. At the end of the said grid of parallel tracks II, frame 18 rotates at an angle to its original position, and in the same order as you move frames / and / saw 4 cut through the second series inclined toward first tracks II-II (Fig. 6).

Saws 4 in the frame / in individual cases can be moved apart so as to cut paths in the boards not in the form of a dovetail, but in some other form conducive to keeping the mortar on the boards during plastering.
