Description
Artificial iron paints (mars) are usually obtained by precipitating soda solutions of ferrous iron salts, mainly ferrous sulfate, with or without aluminum, zinc salts. The resulting mixture of hydrates is washed, filtered, dried and subjected to one of the following treatments, depending on the color of the resulting paint.
При этом получаютс кислые гидраты типа Fe (ОН) (SOJ, и содержание SO4 доходит до 20%.Yellow mars is obtained by slow (for 60-70 hours) oxidation of nitrous hydrates with a stream of air, and darker varieties are obtained by oxidation with the help of bertolet salt. This produces acidic hydrates of the type Fe (OH) (SOJ, and the SO4 content reaches 20%.
3-4%.The brown mars is obtained by calcining the dried ferrous hydrates; when this occurs, their oxidation to oxide hydrates. It also produces acidic hydrates of the above type, but the SO4 content does not exceed 3-4%.
Orange and red mars are obtained by calcining yellow mars at different temperatures.
These methods of obtaining Mars have the following disadvantages:
(76)1) an extraordinary process duration, which is explained by: a) the oxidation of the yellow mars for 60-70 hours; b) slow washing of water-soluble salts, especially benefit ions (76)
дар частичному гидролизу кислых гидратов приходитс дать до 20 промывок при 45-кратном количестве воды; чрезвычайной трудностью фильтровани осадка гидратов, и г) медленной сушкой осадка , из-за аморфной структуры его и большой влагоемкости;the gift of partial hydrolysis of acid hydrates can be given up to 20 washes with 45 times the amount of water; the extreme difficulty of filtering the hydrate precipitate, and d) slow drying of the precipitate, due to its amorphous structure and high water holding capacity;
2)получение красок с содержанием кислых гидратов лишает их антикоррозийных свойств и устойчивости к атмосферным вли ни м;2) obtaining paints with the content of acid hydrates deprives them of anti-corrosion properties and resistance to atmospheric influences;
3) it is not possible to obtain a large range of orange and red mars.
It was also proposed to produce iron paints by calcining a dry mixture of iron sulfate and alkaline earth metal carbonate. But this method also has the disadvantage that alkaline earth metal sulfate remains in the resulting paint, and this is not always desirable, especially when producing pure artistic paints.
The proposed method is devoid of most of the above drawbacks and consists in the following.
Iron fermented ferrous salt (ferrous sulfate), with or without the addition of aluminum, zinc, salts, is mixed in a ball valve with varying amounts of dry soda or potash, calcined at different temperatures, washed from water-soluble salts, filtered and dried.
The third-party method is as follows:
1)значительно ускор етс процесс благодар тому, что: а) отпадает операци окислени в течение 60-70 часов; б) краска очень легко отмываетс от водорастворимых солей, так как в ней отсутствуют кислые гидраты; в) благодар кристаллической структуре краска легко фильтруетс и сушитс ;1) the process is significantly accelerated due to the fact that: a) the oxidation operation disappears within 60-70 hours; b) the paint is very easily washed off from water-soluble salts, since it does not contain acid hydrates; c) due to the crystal structure, the paint is easily filtered and dried;
2)получаютс марсы без кислых групп, вследствие чего они должны обладать хорошими антикоррозийными свойствами;2) mars are obtained without acid groups, as a result of which they should have good anti-corrosion properties;
3) BoiMoJkHbctb is available in a variety of shades, depending on the ratio of the components and the calcination temperature.
The subject matter of the invention.
A method of producing iron paints of various shades by calcining a dry mixture of iron sulfate and carbonate of another metal with or without the addition of aluminum, zinc salts, characterized in that soda or potash are used as carbonate.
