The invention relates to the field of chemical engineering, in particular to reactors for the production of acetylene under pressure from methane and oxygen, as well as pyrogas used for the direct production of iron from ores. A reactor for thermal-oxidative pyrolysis of methane is known, consisting of a body, a burner unit in its upper part, a collector for supplying methane in the middle part, and a closure device in the lower part of the body. Two tube sheets with tubes for the entry of combustion products and methane are installed horizontally in the casing at the collector for introducing methane, and the burner unit is made in three tube sheets arranged one above the other so that two lower grids are fixed in the bottom grid. The process of soot formation, leading to coking of the internal volume of the reactor above the tube sheets for the inlet of gaseous and methane products, entails the need for frequent stops to remove the resulting hinges that interfere with the normal operation of the reactor when operating. The final product is baking for reduction processes. In the proposed reactor, this disadvantage is eliminated by the fact that the deviation of the cross sections of the oxygen supply pipes to the cross sections of the methane supply pipes is 0.8-0.9. This makes it possible to drastically reduce the coking process volume to a minimum that does not interfere with the normal operation of the reactor, especially if the reactor is operating on the target pyrogas product used in the process of direct production of iron from ores. The drawing shows a reactor for producing acetylene and pyrogas under pressure from methane and oxygen. The reactor includes a housing 1 with a mounting block in its upper part, made in the form of three tube grids 2-4 arranged one above the other so that tubes 5 and 6 of the two upper grids 2 and 3 are fixed in the lower grate 4. There are a methane collector 7 around the perimeter. In it, horizontally installed two tubular grilles 8. and 9 with tubes 2 and 11 for the entry of combustion products and methane. A quenching device is placed in the lower part of the housing - nozzles 12 for spraying water. The reactor is equipped with fittings 13 for introducing oxygen, 14 and 15 for introducing methane, 16 for introducing water, 17 for evacuating water and 18 for evacuating pi-gas. Under the grate 4 there is an ignition device 19. The ratio of the cross sections of the oxygen supply tubes to the cross sections of the methane supply tubes is 0.80, 9, and the optimum ratio of the diameter of the circle on which the methane supply openings are located to the diameter of the oxygen supply openings is 1.5 2, 0. The proposed reactor operates as follows. Preheated to 700,800 ° C, oxygen is fed through nozzle 13 into the reactor, in which oxygen, distributed through tubes 5, goes under grid 4 into the combustion zone, where methane heated to 700–800 ° C also flows through nozzle 14 and tube 6 . the amount of 30% by volume of the total consumption of methane to obtain acetylene. In the combustion zone, by means of the ignition device 19, methane is ignited and burned with an oxygen consumption ratio of about 0.8 of the theoretically required. The temperature of the combustion products thus reaches 2700-3000 ° C. The residual methane through the nozzle 15, the collector 7 and the tube 11 at a speed close to sonic, is fed under the grate 9 to the reaction zone for mixing with the combustion products entering the reaction zone through the tubes 10. Breaking the stream of combustion products into a series of jets with tubes 10, and the flow of methane by tubes 11 achieves good mixing of methane with combustion products. Water is fed into the cavity between the grids 8 and 9, which cools the product to 200-2200 ° C. When this occurs, methane pyrolysis occurs in the reaction zone when the latter is mixed with the combustion products. The formed pyrogas goes to quenching, which is produced by water supplied through the form: ki-12. it settles with soot, and the pyrogas then goes through the nozzles 18 out of the reactor from the reactor and is directed to further cooling and separation of acetylene.
