The proposed amplitude demodulator can be used in radio devices, in particular for monitoring television equipment. Known amplitude demodulators containing a series-connected amplifier and detector. The purpose of the invention is to linearize the amplitude response at low signal levels in a wide frequency range. In the proposed amplitude demodulator. To the control input of the amplifier are connected in series a buffer stage and an additional detector, and the input of the additional detector is connected to the input of the demodulator. The drawing shows a diagram of the device. The amplitude demodulator consists of a diode detector 2, 2 and an additional detector diode 3, 4, the output of which is connected via a coupling capacitor 5 to the base of the transistor 6 of the buffer cascade. The collector of the transistor 6 is galvanically connected to the emitter of the transistor 7 of the amplifying stage, to the collector of which the detector is connected. A signal is fed to the input of the amplitude demodulator, which simultaneously passes to the amplifying stage and to the additional detector. Since the amplitude characteristic of the detector in the initial part is non-linear and has a low transmission coefficient, the voltage, post, on its controlled input of the amplifier stage, has almost no effect on the gain factor of the amplifier stage. Therefore, the signal from the demodulator input to the amplifier stage is amplified. With a further increase in the signal, the auxiliary detector operates on the a1-peak-length characteristic with a high transmission coefficient. In this case, the voltage from the output of the auxiliary detector acts on the transistor 6 so that it fits. This leads to an increase in the feedback resistance of the transistor 7. Thus, the larger the signal at the input of the demodulator, the smaller the gain of the amplifier stage, i.e., the high-frequency signal arrives at the input of the main detector with prediction. The prediction, and hence linearization, occurs according to the law of the amplitude response of the auxiliary detector. Amplitude demodulator containing a series-connected amplifier and detector, characterized in that, in order to linearize the amplitude response with small signals in a wide frequency range, the series-connected buffer cascade and an additional detector are connected to the control output, and the additional detector input is connected to the input of the demodulator.
