Description
METHOD FOR DETERMINING MOISTURE OF POROUS MATERIALS
II
The proposed measurement method can be applied to determine the moisture content of practically all porous materials in the whole range of moisture content (from the street to full saturation). It gives an opportunity, but “to measure the distribution of moisture content in the thickness of the material and to obtain directly the value of moisture content without additional calculations.
There is a known method for determining the thermophysical characteristics of porous materials. E. E. Vishnevsky, which can be used to measure moisture fields, if we take the heat transfer coefficients of the material. This method is based on the laws of a nonstationary temperature field in the initial stage of its development, i.e., the moisture content of the body is determined by the paiCTe velocity, nn thermal energy in the medium. The disadvantage of this method is the need to measure a large number of parameters: the power of the electric current passing through the heating filament element, the temperature maximum of the excess temperature (the difference between the temperature at the present time of Time and the initial temperature), the time of its occurrence on the equipotential surface.
The purpose of the invention is to provide a definition
и другие факторы, что существенно повышает точность измерени . 34humidity over the entire range of moisture saturation of the material with increased accuracy of measurement. According to the invention, the goal is achieved by placing a heater and a thermocouple into the material under study. A contact or contactless connection between the heater can be applied. Thermocross contact is commonly used in the case of thermal transformations to measure current, voltage, or power in DC and AC circuits. The skip on the electric heating current is brought up to a predetermined level at which the moisture distribution of the material is not disturbed. Adjust the temperature by changing the current in the heating circuit. Upon reaching the stationary mode, as evidenced by the steady-state magnitude of the current in the heating circuit while maintaining a constant temperature, a sample of the magnitude of this current, which is proportional to the moisture content of the material, is taken. At different moisture content, a scientific research institute will require a different current strength to heat the filament placed in the material at the same constant temperature. Instrument readings are not affected by mineral additives, electrolytes, and other factors, which significantly increases the measurement accuracy. 34
