Description

Beet harvesting machines are known for digging up the beet roots, containing disc farmers and various types of separating tools for separation from the roots.

The disadvantages of the known machines for harvesting beets are that the diggers mounted on them only dig up the roots of the beets, and do not separate the soil from them.

In order to combine the operation of digging and separating root crops from the soil, the disc diggers of the proposed machine have, on the inner side, depth stops with loose separating rings attached to them. To simplify the design, the unloading conveyor of the machine is located in front of the disk diggers below the place where the beet roots are removed.

FIG. 1 and 2 shows a diagram of the proposed beet harvester, side and top view, respectively.

The machine consists of a frame 1, loosening paws 2, digging 3, puller 4 and unloading conveyor 5.

Kopach includes discs 6 placed at an angle to each other, carrying from the inner side depth stops 7, on which separating rings 8 are freely put on.

Loosening paws are set in front of the cops. The unloading conveyor is located in front of the disk diggers, below the place where the beet roots are coming down.

When the beet harvesting machine moves along rows of beets with previously cut tops, the loosening paws loosen the soil.

The disks cut a ribbon out of the soil, clamp it and, together with the beet roots, lift it up. The separating rings, rolling over the surface of the soil, perform movements relative to the disks, loosening the soil lifted by the cacophagous beetroot roots and facilitating its separation.

The ground beetroot has been cleared from the soil by the cops 3 to the puller 4, which directs them to the discharge conveyor.
