В патенте № 32118 описана подъемна машина, в которой грузовой канат не закрепл етс на барабане, а, сделав вокруг него один оборот, своим сбегающим концом переходит черев верхний установленный над барабаном блок, и прицепл етс снова к набегающему на барабан концу грузового каната, чем в сбегающем конце вызываетс нат жение, достаточное дл необходимого прижати каната к барабану .
