Description
Работоспособность таких вальцев низка и они требуют частого ремонта, создают простои маШин, скоро изнашиваютс и выбывают из стро .The proposed rollers for cold rubber pressing of electrical wires, cables, etc., of different sections are applicable in the operation of roller machines regardless of the structure of the latter. Usually, the rolls are made of a whole piece of steel, on the surface of which one or several streams (holes) were turned. In order to increase the working capacity of the rollers, they were hardened, but in such a way that it can be done after turning with a chisel on a lathe. Hardening was not always satisfactory, and the rollers sometimes got into work not sufficiently hardened. The performance of such rollers is low and they require frequent repairs, create machine downtime, soon wear out and drop out of service.
It is not necessary to use a whole piece of steel for the manufacture of rolls, since only one part of the rolls works like a cutting tool and requires good hardening. According to the invention, the rollers are made collapsible.
The drawing shows the proposed rollers in cross section.
6, 5.The working surface of the valves /, / consists of alternately 2 rings 6, 5 put on the sleeve and nut fixed to 2.

Поверхность вальцев протачиваетс наждачным кругом, а углублени ручьев-резцом.maximum hardness, for example, to be made of tool steel, hardened firmly, but not brittle. Rings 5 for forming streams can be made of soft material, for example iron, brass, etc. The side rings 4, 7 are iron. The assembly is made as follows Rings 4, 6, 5, 7 are put on the sleeve 5, then the sleeve with the rings put on it is put on the roller / and firmly attracted by the nut 2. The thread on the rollers (and nuts) should be on one right, on the other left, so that during operation the nut does not loosen when the rollers rotate in opposite directions. The surface of the rolls is machined with an emery wheel, and the grooves of the cutters are cut.
Thus, in the proposed rolls, the strength of the materials constituting them is applied according to the needs caused by the working conditions of these parts. The separation of the rollers gives a number of advantages: the possibility of replacing worn parts, their repair and sharpening, the possibility of different sets of sections of streams and the number of these streams in one pair of rollers. Only well-hardened parts can be selected and put into operation.
