Description

Cham. Zentralbl. 1927, II, 1896J. Ketone oils, resulting as low-value waste in the production of acetone, contain in their composition ketones of the fatty series, the main part of which is methylpropnylketone. In the literature, it is indicated only the release of methyl propyl ketone from ketone oil by repeated fractionation without water in studying the composition of ketone oil (Hermann Suide, Hans Poll. Cham. Zentralbl. 1927, II, 1896J. The work carried out by the author showed the possibility of separating methyl propylene ketone by disperse , with water.

. Кетоновое масло, полученное при разгонке ацетона-сырца, разгон ют в смеси с водой на обычной периодически действующей ректификационной установке дл  ацетона и отбирают первичную метилпропйл-, кетоновую фракцню, йачина  с погона с водным отслоем, с удельным весом d 15/15The proposed method for the isolation of methyl propyl ketone is based on the property of the latter to boil with water at a constant temperature (about 83 °); the same applies to methyl butyl ketone boiling with water at a temperature of about 90 °. . Ketone oil, obtained by distillation of crude acetone, is distilled in a mixture with water in a conventional periodically operating distillation unit for acetone and primary methylpropyl, ketone fraction, yachin is withdrawn from the shoulder strap with a water separation, with a specific gravity of d 15/15

98°-104about 0.850 and at a temperature in the “upper part of the column 85 °, and ending with a shoulder strap at a temperature in the upper part of the column 90 ° with a specific gravity of d 15/15 not higher than 0.850 and with a water separation not exceeding 30% of the total volume of the shoulder strap. The obtained primary methylpropyl ketone fraction containing up to 70% methyl propyl ketone is subjected to repeated distillation with water in the same apparatus, selecting the secondary methyl propyl ketone fraction with a specific weight of d 15/15 0.825-0.830 at a temperature in the upper part of the column 83 ° -86 °. The secondary methyl propyl ketone fraction contains about 90% methyl propyl ketone and, as an admixture, water, methyl ethyl ketone and methyl butyl ketone. To obtain an anhydrous preparation, the primary or secondary methyl propyl ketone fraction, depending on the desired quality of the final preparation, is distilled without water, at which the water is distilled off at a temperature , and the finished methylpropyl ketone at a temperature of 98 ° -104

Similarly, the production of methyl butyl ketone is carried out.

The subject matter of the invention.

The method of obtaining methyl propyl ketone and mrb is butbutyl ketone from their mixture among themselves or with other substances, for example,

из кетоновых масел, путем фракционной их перегонки, отличающийс  тем, что, фракционирование смеси ведут совместно с водой, с каковой означенные кетоны; образуют посто нно кип щие смеси.from ketone oils, by fractional distillation, characterized in that the mixture is fractionated together with water, with which the designated ketones; form constantly boiling mixtures.
