Description
The accuracy of molding molded articles from thermoplastics by injection molding according to known methods depends mainly on the efficiency of compensating shrinkage in the process of cooling the article in the mold. Usually, shrinkage is compensated by additionally supplying the melt through a heated sprue to the mold cavity during the cooling of the product when the volume of the cooled material decreases. In this way, the volume reduction that occurs during cooling from the initial temperature of the melt before its solidification is compensated. When cooled to room temperature, a further decrease in volume is observed, which does not lead to shrinkage defects, but causes a deviation in the size of the product from the size of the form. If shrinkage is compensated using high pressure, these deviations are reduced, but unacceptably large internal stresses arise as a result of the generation of solidified material into the working cavity of the mold.
The proposed method of making thick-walled products from thermoplastics is well-known in that in the central part of the mold hollow, directly the thermoplastic, is fed under
Это повышает точность изготовлени изделий с одновременным повышением его качества.pressure m. foreign non-hardening medium, such as water, the temperature of which is always lower than the melt temperature of the thermoplastic to be molded, and kept in the cavity until the thermoplastic is completely cured. This improves the accuracy of manufacturing products while improving its quality.
The proposed casting method is indicated by a dash.
На оформл ющей поверхности формы образуетс тверда корка из остываюшего расплава .Initially, the melt is injected along the heated tube / into the cooled mold 2 at its lowest position, the rod 3, when the side opening is open and the tube 1 is in communication with the mold cavity. After the mold is filled with the thermoplastic melt, the rod 3 closes the side opening, and immediately after this the liquid is supplied through the pipe 4 under pressure into the central part of the mold cavity. A hard crust of a cooling melt forms on the forming surface of the mold.
The pressure of the liquid from inside the crust presses against the decorating surface, therefore the dimensions of the products made in this way are close to the corresponding dimensions. When the shape of the connector is removed, the product is removed from the end of the pipe 4 and then pushed by the rod 3 from the lower half of the mold.
