Description
This invention relates to a well logging technique.
Acoustic logging of wells calibrates the recorded parameters. Several types of calibration devices are known. In particular, it is known calibration device in the form of a pipe with a liquid, which is placed in the downhole tool. The known acoustic properties of the pipe used are taken as reference and the results of the well survey are compared with them. However, using such devices, calibration of acoustic logging tools takes place outside the borehole conditions, which makes it impossible to fully evaluate the accuracy of the instruments in the well, i.e. under conditions of high pressures and temperatures. There is also no possibility of calibration and control of downhole tools used in the measurement process.
The purpose of the invention is to provide calibration of the instrument and control of its operation directly in the well.
The proposed acoustic well logging device is characterized in that the reference pipe is movably articulated with the caliper and provided with a stop collar, and the caliper of the downhole tool has a collar thickening and is equipped with a controlled electromagnetic latch that holds the caliper inside the pipe.
Устройство содержит глубинный прибор /,FIG. 1 shows the proposed device in the measurement process; in fig. 2 - the same in the calibration process. The device contains a deep device /,
суппорт 2 с электроакустическими датчиками (преобразовател ми) 3, эталонировочную трубу - с упорным буртиком 5, центраторы 6 и защелку 7, управл емую с помощью электромагнита .the caliper 2 with electroacoustic sensors (transducers) 3, the standard tube with the stop collar 5, the centralizers 6 and the latch 7, controlled by an electromagnet.
During descent into the well, the calibration tube 4 is held in place by friction forces against the borehole of the centralizers 6 placed on it. The depth gauge / under the force of gravity is lowered into the tube until
3until the upper thickening on its body reaches the stop collar of the pipe, as shown in FIG. 2. After that, the instrument and the tube are lowered into the well as one unit. At the same time electroacoustic sensors 3
При этом прибор выходит из трубы до упора утолщени суппорта 2 в буртик 5, а труба становитс продолжением прибора.completely closed by a pipe, which allows equipment to be calibrated in the process of descending or stopping in the test interval. Elastic parameters are measured when lifting the device. In this case, the device emerges from the pipe up to the stop of the thickening of the support 2 into the flange 5, and the pipe becomes an extension of the device.
At the end of them, it is possible to check the stability of the equipment and recalibrate it. To do this, the device is lowered by sand meters to ensure that the port 2 with sensors 3 is inside the calibration tube. The latch 7, controlled, for example, by an electromagnet, fixes the caliper in the pipe at the zero input to the pipe of the probe-side of the device. In this case, the device is prepared for recording by turning on the electromagnet that clears the latch, while simultaneously unloading the device.
The proposed device protects the electroacoustic transducers during the descent of the measuring tube, into the well and its transportation, and prevents devices with insufficient hardness from bending.
