Приспособление дл заведени уточной нити в челноке состоит из пластинки abed (фиг. 3), располагаемой в углублении головки челнока над ширинкой так, что часть пластинки с отверсти ми Ъ, с привинчиваетс к телу челнока в углублении дл шпринки, а часть ad выдаетс своим изогнутым ребрОМ в боковое отверстие челнока (фиг. 1 и 2). Через вырез / пластинки и тело челнока пропускаетс шпонка р, служаща дл поддерживани выходного конца уточной нити; сверху через боковой прорез челнока, над шпонкой р проходит шпонка h, предохран юща край выреза от истирани уточной нитью. Уточна нить с початка перекидываетс через выступ а пластинки, и, затем , т нетс вниз, от чего нить выходит в прорез, огиба ребро пластинки, после чего нажимом на нить провод т ее до выступа d и конец нити выдергивают наружу.
