If the neutralizing agent is introduced in the form as a powder, the latter is recommended to be applied with a dispersion of not more than 10 mesh. The amount of neutralizing agent that must be introduced into the composition to produce a neutral foam is calculated based on the amount and nature of neuralized free acid. By correct selection of the amount of the neutralizing agent, an almost neutral foam is obtained, the aqueous extract of which has a pH of 7.0 ± 0.5. The following are examples that illustrate the 15 and the maximum fully neutralized phenol-formaldehyde foam. The foam produced by the proposed method is intended for use as a heat-insulating material in 20 products and structures, including those made from low-alloyed steels. Example 1. A foaming composition is prepared by mixing the following three components: I a phenol-formaldehyde resin of resole tin, into which, at its manufacturing stage, 1% aluminum powder and 3% ethylene oxide adduct and alkylphenols (OP-7) are introduced. P calcium hydroxide powder, obtained by drying a dispersion formed from 10 1 wt. h. Sa (OP) 2 and 100 weight. including 3% aqueous solution of methylcellulose. Ill is a condensation product of sulfophenol urea 35 wines with formaldehyde, in which 1.5% 70% orthophosphoric acid is added to the production stage. Components I and 111 are taken in a weight ratio of 100: 18. The ratios of the components, and 40 as well as the characteristics obtained on the basis of such compositions, are polystyrene shown in table. From the table it is shrewd that the introduction of a neutralizing additive into the composition does not reflect 45 on the induction period (the time from the moment of mixing to the beginning of foaming) is multiple 5 25 30 units of foaming, but provides neutralization of the foam. , Example 2. Foam is prepared according to the method described in Example 1. Calcium carbonate in the form of a powder prepared by drying a dispersion formed from 10 wt.% Is used as a neutralizing additive (component P). h. chalk in 100 weight. including 10% aqueous solution of polyvinyl alcohol. With a ratio of components I: P1 equal to 100: 20, in order to obtain a neutral peponlast, it is required to introduce 6 wt. including powder per 100 weight. h. resin. Example 3. Foam is prepared according to the procedure described in Example 1. When using (As a neutralizing additive of barium oxide hydrate powder, to obtain a neutral foam, 6-8 parts by weight. Ba (OD) 2 per 100 parts by weight are required. component I. The foams obtained in accordance with examples 1-3, being neutral, do not differ in their technical characteristics from the corresponding foams made without the use of neutralizing additives. Subject of the Invention 1.
