Отделенные от стеблей шл пки сползают по наклонно поставленной гребенке к чеистому многогранному барабану, западают в его чейки свЬим основанием, протаскиваютс им внутрь охватывающего барабан неподвижного кожуха и, поступа на шпилечный барабан своим основанием в сторону шпилек, обмолачиваютс при проходе между этим барабаном и прилегающим к нему гладким барабаном, вращающимс в сторону движени шл пок с большей, по сравнению со шпилечным барабаном, окружной скоростью.
