Description

Known apparatus for compressing tobacco sheet into bales, comprising a pressing chamber of rectangular section, a pressing plate two guides nairavl flap alternately overlapped pressing chamber inlet, and compressed bale ejector. A device of the same purpose has been proposed that ensures uniform distribution of tobacco leaves in the pressing chamber and has a higher productivity.

The design feature of the device is that it is provided with a second pressing plate, the driving levers of both ıt are fixed on shafts located on both sides of the chamber and connected by a crank mechanism. The latter informs the valalg, and consequently, the plates alternate reciprocating motion along the arc.

Shields arched shape. They are rigidly ukreileny on pressing plates. The upper part of the side walls of the chamber is also arched.

To lift the door of the pressing chamber when unloading the bale, the device can be equipped with two coupling halves with a common shaft, one of which is connected to the door, and the other with means of levers with a hydraulic drive of the pressing chamber bottom.

The pressing chamber / device of rectangular sesenn. The side walls in the upper part 2 and 3 are arcuate. The front bottom 4, which presses the bales, is brought into motion from the hydraulic actuator 5. In the front wall there is a door 6, and in the rear wall there is a window closed by a slab 7.

In the driven part of the device there is a spring 26, which returns the door 6 to its initial position, as well as a lever 27 with a fork and an electromagnet 28 for disconnecting the half coupling 23. The plate 7 is connected to the ejector 29 moving along a screw from the electric motor 30.

The device works as follows. The tobacco through the loading opening 31 is continuously dumped onto the shield 11 (see Fig. 2), the plate 9 of which occupies at this moment the lowest position, and the plate 8 - the highest upper one. Then the plates 8, 9 come into motion and change places. Tobacco at this time enters directly into the chamber 1 (see Fig. 2.6). Then the plate 8 occupies the lowest position and presses the tobacco in chamber 1, and the plate 9 comes to the extreme upper position. The tobacco is thus dumped alternately on flap 11, directly into chamber 1 and flap 10.

The plates 8 to 9 alternately press the tobacco and distribute it over the cross section of the chamber. The bottom 4 at the beginning of pressing is in its extreme upper position, then gradually goes down and reaches the extreme lower position, after which it starts to rise, while pressing the pile from the bottom, and by the end of pressing it returns to its original position. As soon as the pressing is completed, the presses 8 and 9 stop, with one of them occupying the lowest position, and the other - the uppermost one. As soon as the bottom 4 takes the initial position, the half couplings 21 and 23 are turned on, the door 6 rises, the nit 7 is set in motion, which unloads the pile from the device. Then the lever 27 turns off the half coupling, the spring 26 lowers the door, and

The plate 7 returns to its original position, after which the drive of the pressing plates 8, 9 is turned on, and the cycle is repeated.

The bales are pushed out for 4 seconds and the entry of tobacco into the inlet 31 is interrupted.
