Description

Retractors containing a stand, a tension device mounted on a rack, a replaceable hook mounted on a tension device are known.

The proposed retractor differs from the known ones in that the stand is moved outside the operating field, and the tension device has an elastic, for example, nylon, cord connected to the hook, the protruding parts of the tension device being closed by a cap during surgery, and the replaceable hooks are made of various configurations and sizes.

Such a device provides an expansive convenience in operations on various organs, and also allows the wounds to be given various symmetrical and asymmetrical forms.

The retractor contains a rack / ending with a fork on which a tensioning device is mounted. The latter consists of a drum with a ratchet wheel 2 having a through hole of square section, a dog 3 and a removable handle 4.

On the drum with a ratchet wheel fixed kapron cord 5 of the required length (from 500 to 1500 lsh). The second end of the cord is passed through a hole in the interchangeable hook 6 and secured with a loop that provides

quick hook change.

Depending on the zone of the surgical intervention, the stand / is installed in the necessary place of the side plate 7 of the operating table (Fig. 5-10). After application, the retractor is removed from the operating table, the cord 5 is unwound to its full length, and the retractor (assembled) is washed in a soap solution with an admixture of ammonia, and then

clean hot water. After drying, the cord is fully wound on a drum with a ratchet wheel, after which the retractor is ready for sterilization.
