Abstract

FIELD: ceramics. SUBSTANCE: method involves the preparing parental mixture consisting, %: clay 45-75; pyrophyllite 9-23; aluminium 3.5-5; fluorite 2.5-4; kaolin 6-20, and datolite 2-5. Tiles were formed, subjected for thermic treatment from 25 to 650 C at the rate 4-5.5 C/min and then at the rate 45-50 C/min up to self-ignition point of tile 1050-1150 C followed by exothermic exposition for 10-15 min and cooling. Properties: bending strength limit is 49.6-60.1 MPa, fracture strength limit is 85.4-119.5 kg, water absorption is 0.6-1.2%, porosity is 1.8-2.2%.
