Abstract

FIELD: aircraft engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has a beam made in the form of rectilinear rail and connected with bearing frame of the wing, flap connected through a hinge with variable-length tie made in the form of a carriage moving along the rail. The flap is connected also with the fairing by means of a cross-piece and ties pivotally secured to this cross-piece. The fairing consists of tail and nose links. The cross piece is connected with the carriage through a hinge, with the nose link of the fairing by means of hinges mounted on the ties and with tail link of the fairing by means of variable-length tie. The tail link is rotatable relative to the nose link and the nose link is rotatable relative to beam made in the form of rectilinear rail. When actuated by the drive, the carriage, connected with the cross-piece and the flap, moves along the rail and makes the links rotate together with deviation of the flap. The device may be used both in straight-winged and swept winged aircraft. EFFECT: reduced overall dimensions of the flap control device, reduced aerodynamic resistance of fairing and the aircraft as a whole. 3 dwg
