Description
The invention relates to devices for sealing thermometric capillaries by locally glowing glass with an electric current. In the proposed device for this purpose, an annular conductor heated by current is used, which is worn on the capillary and attached to conductors bent and turned downward and attached to two strings isolated from each other; This annular conductor is surrounded by a mica case, pulled over to the sealed capillary, which is passed into the center of the conductor.
In FIG. 1 is a front view of the device; FIG. 2 is a side view of it; FIG. 3-top view of it; FIG. 4-section of the annular glowing conductor; FIG. 5 is the same, bottom view; FIG. b - the upper part of the thermometer, before desoldering the capillary; FIG. 7, - 8 and 9 schemes of soldering by previous methods.
9 (место притUntil now, the thermometer intended for removing the capillary (Fig. 7) has been previously used, i.e. the stengel cut off against the capillary desoldering point, taking the form shown by Hai of FIG. eight; then the capillary was sealed with the lament of the burner. During the subsequent operation, the cut end of the shingnel was lurking, and the end was melted, receiving; |) Orme, shown in FIG. 9 (place
пайки отрезанной части показано пунктиром ).soldering of the cut part is shown by a dotted line).
When tapping off the capillaries, as is known, it is necessary to leave a certain length of the capillary in the thermometer, removing its excess part. The device proposed for this purpose consists of two metal racks 1 (conductors of electricity), separated from one another by some insulating material 2. At the bottom; parts of racks placed terminals 3 for wires; their upper parts are terminated with conductors 4, 4 and annular conductor 5 for glowing. A part of the conductors 4 and the ring conductor 5 is enclosed in a mica case b, which prevents the thermometer rod from glowing during the process of unmolding and i zl pill. The device is mounted on a stand 7 attached to the table. When the capillary is sealed off, the thermometer is set to the position shown by the dotted line in FIG. 2, the conductors 4 and the mica case b are included in the thermometer's tipgel, and the capillary is the ring conductor 5. The worker, sitting behind the foot, presses his foot on the contact, the ring conductor heats up, removing the capillary in the required place. FIG. b shows the upper part of the thermometer before the capillary desoldering, at which at the height of the figure 8 the capillary should be removed
