Abstract

FIELD: biotechnology. SUBSTANCE: filtrate of culture liquid of Xanthomonas campestris is cooled and acidified to pH 3.5-5.0 with the help of hydrochloric acid. Then 2.5-3.5 amount of cooled ethanol is added by mixing and mixture is allowed to stand in cool place within 6-10 h. Precipitate is separated and dissolved in distilled water. The process is followed by dialysis to pH 4.0, and lyophilic drying of dialyzed solution. Bacteriolytic activity and proteolytic activity of desired product is 45000-50700 units and 36000-3990 units respectively. EFFECT: improves efficiency of the method. 2 tbl
