Description
The invention relates to a foundry and can be used as a binder for the preparation of refractory lining for casting ladles and crucibles.
Due to the chemical interaction of the melt with the lining in the process of pouring the aluminum melt, the buckets and crucibles are sometimes coated with sintered mass impregnated with metal (flooring), which leads to a reduction in their service life.
A crucible for melting and casting aluminum alloys, containing a base of cast iron and a protective layer on the inner side, consisting of two layers of chemical-resistant refractory paint, one of which is located between the base and the layer
Защитный слой содержит кварцевый песок, огнеупорную глину, жидкое стекло и воду.the coating and the other on top of the coating, the thickness of the coating layer being 2-4 mm, and in the direction from the crucible neck to its bottom part doubled, i.e. up to 4-8 mm, preferably up to 6-8 mm. The protective layer contains quartz sand, refractory clay, water glass and water.
The disadvantage of the crucible is the large thickness of the coating, leading to a low resistance of the coating to temperature changes and the formation of cracks, through which the iron interacts with the aluminum alloy and, as a result, the strength of the aluminum alloy decreases.
2The closest in technical essence to the present invention is a binder for the preparation of a refractory mass fu2

70-80.The graters of various buckets and crucibles containing refractory clay and aluminum hydroxide in the following ratio of ingredients, in wt.%: refractory clay 20-30, aluminum hydroxide 70-80.
Недостатком данного св зующего вл етс низка эксплуатационна стойкость вследствие прилипани (адгезии) к нему алюминиевого расплава, образующего при остывании металлические настилы, которые при ремонте тиглей приходитс отбивать, при этом нарушаетс целостность как футеровки , так и чугунной основы тигл .The disadvantage of this binder is the low operational resistance due to the aluminum melt sticking (adhesion) to it, which forms during the cooling of the metal flooring, which during the repair of the crucibles must be beaten off, while the integrity of both the lining and the cast-iron crucible base is violated.
Целью изобретени вл етс повышение эксплуатационной стойкости св зующего и увеличение срока службы ковшей и тиглей за счет улучшени химической стойкости его по отношению к расплаву алюмини .The aim of the invention is to increase the operational durability of the binder and increase the service life of buckets and crucibles by improving its chemical resistance to molten aluminum.
The goal is achieved by the fact that in a known binder for preparing the refractory mass of linings of various ladles and crucibles containing refractory clay, according to the invention, serpentenite and silica sol are additionally introduced, in the following ratio of ingredients, in wt.%: Refractory clay 5-10, serpentine 40 -45, silica salt 25-35, water - the rest.
The introduction of serpentenite and silicasol into a binder for the preparation of the refractory mass of linings for casting ladles and crucibles makes it possible to increase the chemical resistance of ladles and crucibles when interacting with the aluminum melt. This property increases the chemical resistance of crucibles and casting buckets for the first time.
Кроме того, используют отходы асбестовой промышленности .As a serpentenite, rock consisting of 80-85% of the total mass of serpentenite is used, the rest is talc flakes, magnetite and hematite. In addition, use waste asbestos industry.
Silica sol, a silicic acid sol, is composed in May. %: S02 30.1, Na20 0.33, has a pH of 10.2, a density of 1.206 g / cm3 (TUBO 9 5521-82). Serpentenite is fire resistant and is used to make refractory materials. Silica sol also has the ability to form gels and is used to make a mixture of dinas refractories.
Improving the chemical resistance of buckets and crucibles with the introduction of serpentenite and silicasol into the refractory mass of linings during the melting of aluminum alloy
