Abstract
The invention relates to instrumentation engineering and can be used to continuously measure various types of fluid levels. The invention: the light source is made in the form of a conical helix, placed symmetrically to the axis of the measuring tube with the reference liquid, while in the pipe there is an opaque layer of granules of water-absorbent material lighter than the reference liquid. The current level of the liquid to be measured is estimated by the luminous flux from the part of the light source located above the non-permeable earth layer of the granules. 1 il.
Description
The invention relates to instrument engineering and can be used to continuously measure the level of liquids of various types.
The purpose of the invention is to expand the scope.
The drawing shows a diagram of the optical level gauge.
10.The optical level gauge (Fig. 1) contains the measuring tube 1, the connecting tube 2, the membrane 3, the source 4 saetha, the lens 5, the photodetector 6, the indicator 7, the power source 8, the reference fluid 9. The layer of granules 10 made of water-absorbing material is lighter than the reference fluid. This light source 4 is made in the form of a conical helix, placed symmetrically to the axis of the measuring tube 1, separated from the connecting tube 2 by a membrane 3. The terminals of the light source I are connected to the terminals of the power supply 8, above the measuring tube 1 and a lens disposed 5. Moreover, the light source 4, the lens 5 and a detector 6 are connected optically, the output of the photodetector 6 is electrically connected to the input of the indicator 7, b in the measuring tube 9 placed reference liquid, the surface of which is light impervious layer 10 pellets.
The distance between the turns of the light source 4 can be variable. To simplify the replacement of granules 10, they may contain inclusions of ferromagnetic material (powder). The membrane 3 is made of this material and, along the counted edges, is sealed to the walls of the aluminum tube 2. Source 4 ens; and E., made in the form of a conical helix, is pointed downward. It is also possible to locate the source 4 of the light with a conical tip up.
Optical level gauge works as follows

Выходной сигнал которого подаетс на индикатор 7, показани которого будут соответствовать минимальному значению уровн измер емой жидкости,the minimum level of the reference liquid in the measuring tube 1, the light flux from the entire source 4 of light through the lens 5 is fed to the input of the photodetector 6. The output signal of which is fed to the indicator 7, the readings of which will correspond to the minimum value of the level of the measured liquid,
Suppose that the level of the measured liquid increases. This increases the pressure in the connecting tube 2. In connection with this, the hermetic membrane 10 begins to deform (bend), which causes a change in the level of the reference fluid 9 in the measuring tube 1 proportional to the level of the measured fluid.
The light flux from the part of the source 4, located above the opaque layer of the granules 10, through the lens 5 reaches the photodetector b, the output signal of which is fed to the indicator 7, whose reading is proportional to the current level of the measured liquid.
At the maximum level of the measured liquid, the indicator 7 reads equal to zero.
When the level of the measured liquid decreases, the indicator 7 increases from zero to the maximum value
As a result of the application of the proposed level gauge, the scope of application is expanded by measuring the level
