Изобретение относитс к разработке пологих и наклонных угольных пластов. Цель - снижение трудоемкости бурени и взрывани скважин и ремонта подготовительных выработок. В выработке устанавливают стойки крепи. Впереди отрабатываемой лавы в почве пласта под углом в сторону лавы через боковую стенку выработки за пределами зоны опорного давлени лавы бур т скважины. Взрыванием зар дов В В в скважинах образуют компенсационную щель вне зоны вли ни опорного давлени лавы. За стойками крепи выработки со стороны выработанного пространства лавы образуют разгруженную площадку в почве пласта и устанавливают охранную крепь на этой площадке за стенкой выработки до компенсационной щели.
