Description
The invention relates to mechanical engineering, namely to heat exchange and heat transfer devices and can be used in engine cooling systems of vehicles.
Automobile radiators of the cooling system of internal combustion engines are known, having a flat heat-transmitting surface (core), usually made up of several rows of flat-oval tubes scraped with plates or zigzag ribbons.
However, with an optimal value of the heat transfer surface area of the radiator, it is not always possible to achieve an optimum value of the frontal surface due to structural limitations of the width and height of the radiator.
A radiator is known that contains upper and lower tanks, connecting their sides, cooling tubes that are reinforced by common plastics between the tanks, forming sections divided by partitions parallel to the flow of the cooling medium.
In the known construction, with limited dimensions in height and width, the required radiator performance is ensured by increasing the rows of tubes in the depth of the radiator. With this design, each subsequent row of tubes is less efficient in terms of heat transfer than the previous one. Radiators with an optimal number of rows of tubes require a larger frontal surface and, therefore, have insufficient rigidity, which reduces their service life. In addition, in a number of cases, for example, in the conditions of automotive technology, there are strict limitations on radiator dimensions, which does not allow creating a radiator with the required performance.
The purpose of the invention is to intensify heat exchange and increase the strength of the radiator.
The goal is achieved by the fact that the pipe sections are arranged in two rows in a staggered order with overlapping sections of one row of sections of another row, and the partitions have a bend in the area between the rows of sections to form channels between the sections of each row that communicate with annular space of adjacent row sections.

Each cooling section contains cooling tubes 11, arranged in several rows and matched with common plates 12. The cooling sections of both rows are arranged in a checkerboard pattern so that sections 8 of the first row partially overlap sections 9 of the second row.
