Description

The invention relates to speed skating equipment, namely, skating devices for short track, designed for speedy sprint in a hockey box.

The purpose of the invention is to increase the efficiency of the speed run.

The goal is achieved by the fact that the nose part of the skid and the body from the front pillar are bent to the inner surface of the skid, the bending radius of which is 6.5-8.0 mm, and the bend length from the toe of the skid is while the rack is made in one piece with the body having a T-shaped shape.

The short-track ridge consists of a skid 1 inserted into the groove of the body 2 and attached to it with glue. The body 2 of the ridge has a shape and is made of light alloys. On the body 2, there are located the front pillar 3 and the rear pillar 4, each of which consists of two pillars 5 and two pillars 6, respectively (Fig. 1). Racks 3 and 4 have platforms 7 and 8 for the boot (Fig. 2). The supports 5 and 6 are made in one piece with the tapped body 2 and the pads 7 and 8 and to evenly distribute the load. On the ridge are arranged so that each support has a quarter of the length of the body 2. The pads 7 and 8 have transverse grooves for fastening the boot to the ridge and longitudinal adjustment of the ridge position relative to the boot. The distance between the centers of the grooves of the pads 7 and 8 is 165 mm and is constant for all skate sizes. The nasal part of the skid 1, together with the body of the ridge 2 (from the front pillar), is bent to the inner surface of the skid along a bend radius of 6.5-8.0 mm depending on the size of the ridge. The bend of radius R is made on the section of the skid and the body, starting from the toe of the skid, and is one-third the length of the skid.

The proposed ridge for the short track works as follows.

In a speedy run on a short track, skaters consistently overcome the straight and turning (the turning radius is 8.25 m) sections of the short distance. The bend of the skid and hull of the skate at a third of the length of the tip of the skate allows the skaters to fit well into the turn, while they are tilted to the left and forward, and the emphasis is placed on the nose of the skid. Saving the remaining section of the skid and the body (2/3 of the length) is linear because the skaters focus mainly on the middle part of the ridge when passing the straight section of the course.

The use of the proposed device provides skaters increased maneuverability during the passage

sections of the short track, thereby increasing the effectiveness of high-speed running.

Claims. A short-track ridge containing skid-connected front and rear racks with boot seats, characterized in that, in order to increase efficiency in use by providing the possibility of increasing the running speed, the toes of the skid and hull from the front rack bent to the inner surface of the skid, the bending radius of which is 6.5-8.0 m, and the length of the crook of the skid nose is 1/3 of the length of the skid, while the racks are made of a uniform shape and in one piece with the body brand-shaped.
