Abstract

FIELD: geophysics. SUBSTANCE: method refers to remote measurements of parameters of lower ionosphere. It consists in emission of probing pulse into ionosphere, in reception of signal scattered back by inhomogeneities of ionospheric plasma, in determination of amplitude dependence of signal scattered back and in determination of altitudes of turbulent layers by it. Preliminary action with powerful radio emission on frequency higher than critical for E layer and lower than critical for F layer of ionosphere is conducted. In consequence of it artificial periodic inhomogeneities having the least intensity at altitudes where intensive turbulent layers exist are emerging. EFFECT: enhanced authenticity and decreased time of measurements. 2 dwg
