The purpose of the invention is to reduce water absorption and increase bending strength.
The following materials are used: acidic (ultra-acidic) self-decomposing electric smelting slag produced in medium-carbon steel with a basicity module Mo 0.15; the main (highly basic) electric smelting steel production slag (from electric arc furnaces).
1.The slag compositions are given in table. one.
Alkaline waste oxygen production contains the following composition (dry), wt.% :,

20.Waste is formed during air purification from C02, carried out with the help of 10–12% aqueous solution of NaOH due to the reaction: 2MaOH + COa No. 2CO3 + H20.
В этой реакции все увеличивающа с концентраци Ма2СОз приводит к снижению поглотительной способности раствора и вызывает необходимость его замены, что приводит к образованию содощелочного отхода .In this reaction, the ever-increasing concentration of Ma2CO3 leads to a decrease in the absorption capacity of the solution and necessitates its replacement, which leads to the formation of a co-alkaline waste.

Последние, осажда сь на непрореагировавших частичках сталеплавильного шлака, образуют на их поверхности экранирующие пленки, что также обусловливает замедление процесса и удлинение сроков схватывани .Under the conditions of a highly alkaline environment created by flat waste, it is difficult for the CaO to enter the liquid phase from the highly basic slag of electric arc furnaces, which also slows down the process of interaction. At the same time, conditions are created for enriching the hydrate phase with the silica component due to steelmaking slag from smelting medium carbon steels. As a result of the interaction of the latter with calcium hydroxide, which is introduced into the composition of the host, low-base calcium hydrosilicates are synthesized. The latter, deposited on unreacted particles of steelmaking slag, form shielding films on their surface, which also causes the process to slow down and lengthen the setting time.
0In addition, due to the already prepared crystallization centers, the role of which is performed by portlandite, the accelerated crystallization of calcium hydrosilicates proceeds, which entails a decrease in the amount of calcium hydroxide in the system. The consequence of this is the continuation of the hydration process, i.e. its continuity, as a result of which, besides low-basic calcium hydrosilicates, calcium hydrocarbosilicates are also synthesized. The latter cause compaction of the crystal structure, which leads to an increase in strength and density, which results in a decrease in water absorption.

Scheni to the ghost. The stability of the composition of the resulting hydration products eliminates the possibility of recrystallization processes, and, consequently, the possibility of a decrease in strength,
A slurry is obtained by grinding in a ball mill pre-dried slag and calcium hydroxide to a specific surface of 3200 cm2 / g and subsequent closure by the waste of oxygen production.
The tests were carried out according to PCT USSR 5024-83 on samples 4x4x16 cm.
2 и 3.The compositions in the gnawing and the test results are given in table. 2 and 3.
