Such structural implementation of the grooves makes it possible to combine the properties of a mixer with closed annular grooves and mixers with two screw counter-grooved grooves. With this combination of properties of the mixer, the polymer melt, entering the kneading element and filling the grooves, is subjected to intense alternating shear deformation, which ensures high-quality displacement. The mixer comprises a sleeve 1 with a kneading element 2 disposed therein, which can be attached to the drive shaft if the mixer is an independent device or at the end of the screw
2 и 3).3, if the mixer is an extruder-mixer assembly (FIG. 1). The kneading element 2 is made in the form of a cylinder mounted in the sleeve 1 with a radial clearance 4. On the outer surface of the kneading element 2 there are closed grooves 5 alternating with ridges 6. The grooves 5 are arranged at an angle to the longitudinal axis of the kneading element 2. Adjacent grooves 5 can be made of different depths and with different angles of inclination to the longitudinal axis of the kneading element (Fig. 2 and 3).

Длина месильного элемента 2, а также количество канавок 5 иan external source of the melt supply (if the mixer is an autonomous device) is fed to the kneading element 2, filling the groove 5. When the kneading element 2 rotates in the sleeve 1, the melt is subjected to deformation of the shift in the grooves 5 and the radial gap 4. Each groove 5 can be divided into two the halves, one of which represents a half turn of the screw thread, which promotes the advancement of the melt in the forward direction (to the exit from the mixer). When placing the kneading element 2 on the extruder screw 3 or on the shaft, this half of the groove coincides with the cutting direction of the screw. The other half of the groove 5 of the kneading element 2 is a half turn of the screw thread, which, when the kneading element 2 rotates, tends to direct the melt flow in the opposite direction. Thus, the melt, moving along the annular closed groove 5, is subjected to intense alternating shear deformation, which ensures high-quality mixing. The rotation of the kneading element 2 causes the melt to move from one groove 5 to another, adjacent to it, by pushing it through the gaps 4 between the ridges 6 and the sleeve 1 of the mixer. This mixing is enhanced by cutting thin layers of material with ridges 6, and also due to the fact that the melt flow from one part of the groove 5 occurs to the right adjacent groove 5, and from the other part to the left adjacent groove 5. The length of the kneading element 2, as well as the number of grooves 5 and
прочие геометрические параметры смесител выбираютс дл каждого конкретного материала, условий и требуемой интенсивности смешени .other geometrical parameters of the mixer are selected for each specific material, conditions and required mixing intensity.
In the proposed extruder mixer
е. в продольном направлении заkneading element 2 combines the properties of mixers with closed annular grooves and mixers with two helical counter-grooved grooves. As a result, mixing occurs both in the radial gap between the sleeve and the element (i.e., in the transverse direction), and in the screw counter-directed grooves (i.e., in the longitudinal direction behind
Таким образом, при простой конструкции и незначительных затратах энергии предлагаемый смеситель обеспечивает интенсивноеcounterflow account), as well as due to the melt flow between adjacent grooves. Thus, with a simple design and low energy costs, the proposed mixer provides intensive
перемешивание, что гарантирует высокое качество конечного продукта.mixing, which guarantees high quality of the final product.
