The invention relates to the beneficiation of minerals and can be used in plants that process fluorite ores by the flotation method.
The purpose of the invention is to increase the extraction of fluorite in the concentrate and save the reagents.
1:6,4-1:7,2The described method of flotation of carbonate fluorite-containing ores in the presence of a collector using ethylenediaminetetra (methylphosphonic) acid (EDTP) and liquid glass is characterized by the fact that ethylenediaminetetra (methylphosphonic) acid and liquid glass are fed into the pulp as a mixture; the ratio of these reagents in the mixture is taken in the range of 1: 6.4-1: 7.2
ZDTP is a compound that contains complex-forming groups that can selectively interact with cations that are included in the crystal lattices of minerals to be separated. Liquid glass also has depressive properties with respect to calcite and contributes to the activation of fluorite flotability by increasing the sorption of the collector on the surface of the useful mineral due to the increased selectivity of fixing the depressor on the surface of the particles being floated, which contributes to an increase in the extraction of fluorite in the concentrate.

Добавление же силиката натри (жидкого стекла) понижает растворимость минералов, что снижает вредное вли ние неизбежных ионов пульпы (в частности катионов кальци ), ад- сорбирующихс на поверхности флюорита и нарушающих селекцию.is a representative of complexones containing phosphonic groups, the use of which is based on the fact that, depending on their structure (number of phosphonic groups), they form complexes of different accuracy. Calcite-fluorite ores are characterized by the fact that the crystal lattice of the empty rock of calcite contains a calcium cation, as in fluorite. But since calcium, which is located on the surface of fluorite and calcite, is distinguished by its complexing properties due to different anions and the influence of the crystal lattice of the mineral, EDTP selectively depresses calcite. The addition of sodium silicate (liquid glass) lowers the solubility of minerals, which reduces the harmful effects of unavoidable pulp ions (in particular calcium cations) adsorbed on the fluorite surface and violate selection.
Закрепление собирател и флотируе- мость минералов кальцита и флюорита наход тс в пр мой зависимости от величины сорбции силиката натри .The consolidation of the collector and the floatability of the calcite and fluorite minerals are directly dependent on the amount of sodium silicate sorption.
It has been established that the fixation of sodium silicate on these minerals occurs due to the chemisorption of Si (OH) 4 and (OH) 3 on the cation-active centers of the mineral surface. The amount of sodium silicate adsorbed decreases in sequence; fluorite, calcite. The fixation of sodium silicate on fluorite is due to the additional interaction of the silanol groups of the reagent and fluoride of the mineral surface, as a result of which the depressant effect on calcite is enhanced and the possibility of reducing the consumption of EDTP is determined.
Example. Ore containing 10.82% fluorite and 25.17% calcite is crushed to a particle size of 70% class minus 0.074 mm.
The consumption of soda ash in grinding to create a pH of the medium is 50 g per ton. After separation of the mercury-antimony concentrate, the ore is sent to a fluorite flotation cycle. For depression, a pre-prepared mixture of aqueous solutions of EDTP and water glass is used in a ratio of 1: 5-1: 7.5. The consumption of EDTF is 50 g / ton of ore. Agitation pulp with a depressant - 3 min. Oleic acid was used as a collector, consumption of which is 285 g / t. Agitation time - 3 min. The coarse fluorite concentrate is subjected to five scrubbing. In the first and fourth cleanup serves a mixture of EDTP and liquid glass; the second, third and fifth cleanings are carried out without reagents. The chamber products of the first and second cleanings and the control concentrate are sent to the mid-product cycle. A mixture of EDTP and water glass is also used as a depressor.
Применение депрессора ЭДТФ в смеси с жидким стеклом позвол ет получить флю- оритовые концентраты марок ФФ-90 (при содержании флюорита 92,35%) и повысить извлечение флюорита в концентрат на 9% по сравнению с известным способом (с 60,1 до 69,1%).The use of the EDTP depressor in a mixture with liquid glass makes it possible to obtain fluorite concentrates of the FF-90 types (with a fluorite content of 92.35%) and to increase the extraction of fluorite into the concentrate by 9% compared with the known method ( one%).
