Abstract
This invention relates to medicine, namely narcology. The method allows to eliminate side effects and shorten the study time, which is achieved by conducting an electroencephalographic study, including measuring the total EEG power, before and after the administration of hexenal and the diagnosis of alcoholism with an increase in the EEG power during the first 10 minutes after the administration less than 80% compared to initial value of 1 s.p f-crystals.

This invention relates to medicine, namely narcology.
The purpose of the invention is to eliminate side effects and reduce research time.
The method is carried out as follows.
Electrodes are placed on the subject's scalp, then it is placed in a soundproof darkened chamber. From the test subject's scalp, two symmetrical bipolar temporomandibular leads are recorded, the background electroencephalogram is analyzed and subjected to spectral analysis using the Berg transformation technique. Duration of the analysis epoch is 0.5 min. Then a 0.1-0.2% aqueous solution of hexenal is administered with a preparation content of 0.002-0.003 g / kg body weight, prepared immediately before
After the hexenal solution is administered to the subject, an EEG recording is performed for at least 10 minutes and if the total electroencephalogram power during the first 10 minutes is less than 80% compared to the initial level, alcoholism is diagnosed.
0 00Example. Subject P, 27 years old. Diagnosis: chronic alcoholism. Anamnestic information is reluctant to report, denies the use of alcohol, and is placed in hospital by police intrigues. Electrodes are glued to the subject's head in a bilaterally symmetrical temporomandibular lead. It is then placed in a noise-free soundproof chamber, where it is in a state of relaxed wakefulness. Диагноз впоследствии был подтвержден объективными сведени ми из} A 0.1% solution of hexenal was added, which was added just before the test, with a preparation content of 0.003 g / kg body weight, i.e. with a mass of 77 kg, the test subject receives a solution containing 0.231 g of hexenal. Then, the subject was subjected to an EEG study for 15 minutes. The following dynamics of the total spectral power (% relative to the background level) is noted: during the first 6 minutes after taking hexenal, the total power does not change, after 8 minutes the EEG power increases by 45%, after 10 minutes by 65%, after 12 minutes - by 95%, after 14 minutes - by 102%. Thus, over the first 10 minutes of the study, the increase in the total EEG power is less than 80%, which makes it possible to diagnose alcoholism. The diagnosis was subsequently confirmed by objective information from
