Description
The invention relates to a technique for measuring the flow of liquids, in particular to a technique for measuring the flow of water in open channels.
The purpose of the invention is to increase the accuracy and reliability of measuring the flow of water in open channels.
The drawing is a schematic diagram of the device.
11.The device consists of a surface flow velocity sensor, made in the form of a paddle wheel, consisting of blades 1 suspended on an axis of rotation 2 with the help of holders 3, fixed with bearings on a suspension 4, rigidly connected to a U-frame 5. The ends of the frame 5 are connected through rigid communication with the floats 6. The floats are brought out into the wells 7 and move along the guide rods 8. Potentiometer 9 is mechanically connected to one of the floats 6. The device includes a multiplying device 10 and secondary device 11.
The device works as follows.
In the absence of water in the channel U-shaped, the suspension 4 with a paddle wheel is located on the shore of the channel. When filling the channel, the water enters the bank. Beef wells 7 and floats 6, moving along the guide rods 8, occupy the position that determines the depth of water filling in the channel. The blades of the wheel due to the rigid connection of the U-shaped frame 5 with the floats b during rotation are immersed in the flow at the same depth regardless of the water content in the channel. The result of this is that the rotational speed of the paddle colzz depends only on the surface velocity of the water.
Water flow is determined by the dependence of Q k -S - vcp, where S is the area, vcp is the average flow rate, and k is the coefficient determining the dependence of the surface and average flow rates.
11.The flow area at a constant channel width is determined by measuring the water level with a potentiometer 9 mechanically connected to the float 6. The average speed is determined as a function of the surface speed as a function of the speed of the impeller. The magnitude of the flow area and its average speed in the form of electrical signals are transmitted to the multiplying device 10, whose output signal, which is a function of the water flow, is fed to the secondary device 11.
Отверсти , соедин ющие колодцы с каналом , служат демпфером, гас случайные волны и колебани поверхности воды в канале , что также повышает точность измерений ,As a result of the fact that the impeller consists of blades suspended from the axis of rotation of the wheel with the help of holders and placed on a U-shaped frame rigidly connected with floats that move along guide rods in the coastal wells, the accuracy and reliability of measurements is increased Since the blades of the wheel are immersed in the flow by the same amount regardless of the filling of water in the channel, only the surface velocity of the water is measured. The effect of fin and debris on floats is also reduced, which improves the accuracy and reliability of measurements. The holes connecting the wells with the channel serve as a damper, quench random waves and oscillations of the water surface in the channel, which also improves the measurement accuracy,
