Abstract
The invention relates to a measurement technique and is intended to control small displacements, in particular radial beats. The purpose of the invention is to improve the measurement performance by simplifying electronic processing. Places in front of the controlled surface at least two probes of optical fibers so that the probes are offset ends along their axis, which ensures the elimination of errors due to the quality of the test surface. One of the probes is in the upstream branch of the linear characteristic zone, and the other in the downward branch of the linear zone of the characteristic, which allows summing up the direct and inverted signals from different probes as output signal processing. 1 silt

The invention relates to a measurement technique and is intended to control linear displacements, in particular radial and face beats.
The purpose of the invention is to improve the measurement performance by simplifying the processing of the output signals.
The method is carried out as follows.
One of at least two identical probes consisting of emitting and receiving light guides is installed in front of the controlled surface so that it operates on the upstream branch of the characteristic, and the other probe on the downstream branch of the characteristic. In this case, the distance between the ends of the probes is set in the range of 2.68-4.45 distances between the axes of the emitting and receiving light guides. One of the signals taken from the outputs of the probes is inverted and added to the output of the other probe. In this case, the measurement error is compensated due to a change in the reflective properties of the surface, since the reaction to mixing in the probes has a different sign, and the response to a surface defect is the same and the total signal contains only the useful signal.
The drawing shows a diagram of the device that implements the method.
The probe 1 is installed in front of the controlled surface 2 so that it operates on the upstream branch of the characteristic, and
8.probe 3 so that it operates on the downstream branch of the characteristic. The distance between the ends of the probes 1 and 3 is set in the range of 2.68-4.45 distances between the axes of the emitting and receiving fibers 4 and 5. The output signals are removed from the probes 1 and 3 and fed to the photodetectors 6 and 7, and then to the direct and inverting inputs of the differential amplifier 8.
Using the proposed method, the measurement performance is improved by simplifying electronic processing, which is essential when monitoring high-speed processes.
