Abstract
The invention relates to the coating of a product and can be used in workshops where copper-coated steel wire is manufactured. The purpose of the invention is to increase productivity and improve quality. The method of applying a metallic coating, preferably copper, to the wire involves rubbing the coating onto the surface of the moving wire 1. At the same time, it is wound on two oppositely rotating drums 2 and 3 in 2 to 4 turns and leads brushes 4 and 5 simultaneously to several turns of wire lying on drums. 2 Il.
Description
The invention relates to the coating of a product and can be used in workshops where copper-coated steel wire is manufactured.
The purpose of the invention is to increase productivity and improve quality.
1.In figure 1. The scheme of coating the wire is presented; figure 2 is a view along arrow a in figure 1.
The wire 1 is wound sequentially 10 onto the freely rotating drums 2 and 3. Moreover, 2-4 turns are wound clockwise on the drum 3, and 2-4 turns counterclockwise are wound on the drum 2. In the process of winding, a coating is applied to the wire by transferring it with metal brushes 4 and 5 from the bars 6 and 7 to the surface of the wire. In this case, the coating is applied simultaneously to all turns of wire placed on the drum, moreover, on drum 3, on one side of the wire, and on drum 4, on the other. Moreover, each section of the wire is in contact with the brush in the coating zone from 2 to 4 times. The copper-coated wire is wound onto coil 8. When winding the first turn of the wire onto the drum, it is necessary to reduce its speed by 1.5 times, since copper is not applied to the surface. With an increase in the number of 30 turns on the drum to 5 or more, it is more difficult to slip the wire along the drum in the direction of its axis of rotation. This leads to wire breaks and increases the cost of its production. Covered 35 | copper wire is wound on a spool.
40Example. Welding wire according to TU 14-4-133-73 from steel grade 08G1S with a diameter of 0.8 mm is coated with copper. The thickness of the copper coating in accordance with TU 40
14-4-133-73 is 0.5-0.9 microns. Coating is carried out in a pilot plant containing two drums with shoulders, freely installed in bearings on the shafts. The diameter of the drums is 100 mm, the width of the working part is 50 mm. The welding wire emerging at a speed of 2-2.5 m / s from the drawing mill is sequentially wound in opposite directions onto the drums. In the winding process, copper is applied to the wire with a metal brush. The outer diameter of the brush is 260 mm, the width is 40 mm, the peripheral speed of the brush surface is 29 m / s. Copper is transferred by brush to the wire from a copper round bar with a diameter of 40 mm.
14-4-133-73.The proposed method provides a welding wire with a copper coating while reducing energy consumption and high productivity. The method is environmentally friendly and provides high quality wire in accordance with TU 14-4-133-73.
Equipment for implementing the method has small dimensions and can be easily manufactured in mechanical workshops or factories,
