Figure 1 presents the proposed device, a longitudinal section; figure 2 - Same view in the plan.
The device has a horizontal base 1 with contact elements 2, segment overlaps 3, bounded by the wall of the body of the column 4, the drain partition 5 ,. having a curvilinear shape in terms of And in a vertical section, and the receiving lance 6, equipped with a convex screen 7, installed on the side of the drain partition 5. The convexity of the screen 7 and the drain partition 5 are oriented in the direction of overflow.
The device works as follows.
The water-alcohol condensate is sent for purification into a distillation (epuration) column, where it enters the horizontal base 1 of the first contact device (plates) equipped with contact elements 2 along the fluid flow and interacts with the upward flow of the vapor phase , after which the aerated mixture is discharged into a segment overflow 3, bounded by the wall of the column body 4 and the drain wall 5, which is made profiled. Installing the drain wall 5 with the bulge 6, the side of the overflow contributes to Simultaneously compensating for the reflection of the reconstituted liquid from the curved wall surface of the column case 4 and activating the inflow of the liquid phase to the peripheral sections of the segmented overflow 3. When flowing around the receiving bar b, the fluid flow is redistributed, resulting in active forced feeding of the side portions of the base 1 , accompanied by the alignment of the local velocity profiles of the liquid phase in the contact zone. Thus, the hydrodynamic environment on the plate largely approaches the ideal displacement mode, which is most advantageous from the point of view of mass transfer efficiency.
