Abstract

FIELD OF THE INVENTION The invention relates to shipbuilding and covers the hatch of a ship hatch.

The aim of the invention is to improve the convenience of operation when used on vessels with vertically collapsible manhole covers.

The cover of the ship's hatch contains the upper 1, middle 2 and lower 3 panels, the last of which is fixed on the coaming of the hatch for the loops (grommets) 4 with the help of the hooks 5 on it.

The panels overlap by 300-500 mm so that the lower edge of the middle (upper) panel is on top of the upper edge of the lower (middle) panel.

The edges of the panels in the place of overlapping are provided with elastic elements, harnesses 6, with which the technological opening 7 formed between the panels is sealed.

In order to avoid sagging, the upper edge of the lower (middle) panel may be provided with four or more vertical elastic straps 8, attached at one end to the upper edge of the panel and the other to the underlying panel.

To the upper edge of panels 3 and 2, one end is fixed by straps 9 and the other end is free.

The cloth 1 has in its upper part a suspension bracket with an eye 10, to which, by means of a lock 11, a supporting element 12 is attached, made in the form of a cable, with one end of the cable fixed to the eye 13 on the standard hatch cover 14 on the right, and the other on the standard manhole cover to the left of the line of their connector.

Lock 11 has the ability to remotely open. The lock opening can be controlled manually - for a long delay, from a remote control via an electric cable or by sending a radio signal.

Each of the cover sheets to increase strength is reinforced with woven tapes 15, which form a soft covering frame.

For quicker and more convenient installation of the shelter on the corner reinforcing tapes 15 there are loops 16, which are fixed on the edges of the hatches by the hooks 17.

To facilitate removal of the sheath, a long cable 18 is attached to the eye 10 at one end and the other end is free. The reloading device 19 is covered with elastic elements 6 of the edges of the panels.

The device is used on ships with vertically collapsible manhole covers as follows.

5 Shelters are manufactured in the following order.

The workers unfasten the bottom edge of the panel 3 from the coaming of the hatch, removing the loops (grommets) 4 from the hooks 5.

5 By moving the reloading device 19 up simultaneously with the closing of the manhole covers 14, the slack of the panels is selected. The edges of the hatches are covered so that in the middle part of the hatch an opening of 800-1200 mm is formed.

The loops 16 of the reinforcing tapes 15 are detached from the hooks 17. By moving the reloading device 19 upward, the shelter rises from the opening of the hatch and is moved to the deck or on the lid of another hatch, after which the hatch covers are closed by the ship or shore lifting device used similarly to the reloading device 19.
