Abstract
The invention relates to the field of agriculture and forestry, in particular to the protection of plants from harmful insects. The purpose of the invention is to increase the efficiency of the method and reduce the harmful effects on the plant. To protect the plants, the corrugated copper wire is wound in a spiral on the trunk and main branches of a tree or shrub. The invention provides plant protection for many years without replacing the wire barrier.
Description
The invention relates to the field of agriculture and forestry, in particular to the protection of plants from harmful insects.
The aim of the invention is to increase the efficiency of the method and reduce the harmful effects on the plant.
П р и м е р. PRI me R. A copper wire, previously crimped with a step between corrugations equal to the height of the corrugation, is wound onto the trunk of the protected tree and its lower branches. The wire is spirally wound with a step of winding of 100 to 200 mm, and its ends are fastened.
After natural (rain, dew, etc.) or artificial wetting of the wire, the formation of toxic insect oxides occurs, then falling on the bark of the tree. In dry time, copper oxide pollen is formed on the surface of the wire, also contributing to the limitation
Making the wire in the form of a corrugation provides an increase in the working surface area of the formed barrier and reduces the traumability of plants as they grow and the diameter of the stem and branches increases.
