The invention relates to the electrochemical machining of metals, namely to the etching of aluminum foil (strip) used in the manufacture of aluminum capacitors.
The aim of the invention is to reduce the process temperature, increase the specific capacity of the foil and reduce the dielectric loss and leakage current.
The drawing shows a scheme that implements the proposed method.
For the implementation of the method, aluminum foil with a thickness of 14 µm is taken, passed through rollers 1-4 of the device for its movement and secured its free end on the last roller 4, which simultaneously serves as a receiving reel. Then, an electrolyte solution 6 of a corresponding concentration is poured into the electroplating bath 5 and a polarizing current of a given value is passed through the electrodes 7 and 8. The composition is prepared by conventional mixing of the components.
Specific comparative data of the proposed method and the known are given in the table.
Из сопоставлени приведенных результатов видно, что предлагаемый раствор позвол ет незначительно улучшить некоторые электрические параметры обрабатываемой фольги при электролизе в известных режимах .From a comparison of these results, it can be seen that the proposed solution can slightly improve some of the electrical parameters of the foil to be processed during electrolysis under known conditions.
As for the loop-like arrangement of the foil, it significantly affects the processing speed. So, if there is only one submersible roller, then it can speed up the processing process almost 2 times compared to processing the foil, moving only up and down 1 time, with two rollers, 4 times, etc. In other words, the loop-like arrangement of the foil in the proposed method

имеет существенное значение дл повышени скорости обработки и уменьшени при этом энергетических затрат.is essential to increase processing speed and reduce energy costs.
The application of the proposed method will allow 2.5–9 times faster processing of aluminum foil while simultaneously increasing the specific capacity of the treated foil from 2500 to about 4000 μF / dm2, which, in turn, will save raw materials for the production of aluminum capacitors. In addition, the present invention will save energy, since the proposed method uses lower current densities (0.08-0.14 A / cm2 compared to 2-10 A / cm2 in the known method) and there is no need to heat the electrolyte ( solution temperature in the proposed method is 20 ° C, in the known 70-92 ° C).
