Abstract
п. The invention relates to the drilling of exploration wells, namely to a rock destructive tool. The purpose of the invention is to increase the resource of the crown due to advancing the height of the support plates with respect to carbide cutters. This is achieved by the fact that at the initial moment of operation of the crown, the support plates 4 are in contact with the face, preventing the carbide cutters 3 from breaking and ensuring their gradual contact with the rock. The crown with body 1 is fastened with the help of the threaded part 2 to the core set, through which the torque and axial load are transmitted. Such a crown design provides an increase in its resource by 15-20%. 1 h. item f-ly, 1 ill.
Description
The invention relates to the drilling of exploration wells, and in particular to a rock cutting tool for drilling with coring.
The aim of the invention is to increase the resource of the crown due to the advance in height of the support plates relative to carbide cutters.
The drawing shows a crown, side view.
The crown consists of a housing 1 with a threaded part 2, on which carbide cutters 3 are mounted, resting on support plates 4, which are ahead of these cutters in height.
The crown works as follows.
In the initial period of drilling, the crown falls to the surface of the face and is in contact with the supporting plates 4, while carbide cutters 3 do not reach the surface of the face. When the crown rotates around its axis, the support plates begin to wear and produce a face profile that is acceptable for carbide cutters. After a certain period of time, the end part of the support plates wears out and the cutting faces of carbide cutters come into operation and the normal drilling process begins. In this case, chipping of carbide cutters does not occur either when setting for slaughter, or at the time of rotation, so this contributes to 5 increase the resource of the crown. At the same time, the work of the crown on the face will be more stable, which will lead to an increase in core yield during drilling in fractured rocks.
The resource of the crown increases by 15-20% due to the improvement of the formation of the face by the supporting plates before the carbide cutters come into operation.
