Abstract

The invention can be used to determine the strength characteristics of materials of tubular specimens. The purpose of the invention is to improve the accuracy by creating a uniformly distributed load in the sample. At the ends of sample 3, rings 4 and 5, made of highly plastic material, are installed and compressed using half rings. Equal distance from the ends of sample 3, the working element 11 is placed, which, when compressed by rods 12 and 13, provides loading of the middle part of sample 3 by uniformly distributed force, creating, at the ends of sample 3, the condition of clean bending of its walls from internal pressure. The length of the working element 11 is selected from 1 to 3 internal diameters of the sample 3, which ensures a uniform tension state of the working element, and therefore, uniformly distributed pressure on the inner surface of the sample 3. 2 Il.
