Abstract
FIELD: hereditary dentistry. The goal is to increase the strength and flexibility of the allograft. To do this, before demineralization, insulating pads are applied to the bone graft. This allows the allograft to be sufficiently strong and flexible to restore the anatomical shape of the lost mandible.
Description
This invention relates to surgical dentistry.
The aim of the invention is to increase the strength and flexibility of the allograft.
The method is dried as follows.
Before demineralization, an insulating strip is applied on the cortical bone from two sides of the required shape and size from Stens-2 thermoplastic mass used in orthopedic dentistry. or base wax. Before use, these materials are heated over a flame of a spirit lamp to a liquid state and applied with a dental spatula to the allokost. After cooling, this material is firmly bonded to the surface of the bone, preventing the demineralization of these areas. The bone is immersed in 1.2-3.6 n. hydrochloric acid solution for 2-5 days. The activity of the solution is maintained daily by changing it. The control of demineralization is carried out by X-ray examination and mechanically by puncture of injection injection. At the end of the demineralization, insulating pads are removed with a scalpel or spatula and the graft is immersed in a 15% sodium thiosulfate solution three times for a period of 20 minutes to neutralize the acid. The graft is stored in a 0.5% formalin solution. Sowing for sterility is carried out during storage after 7-10 days and before surgery.
Shapes and sizes of insulating gaskets may be different. The forms of the resulting grafts can also be different depending on the need to replace one or another section of the mandible.
The application of the proposed method allows to obtain the allograft sufficiently strong and flexible to restore the anatomical shape of the lost mandible section, which gives a good cosmetic effect. Preservation of osteoinductive properties of VCT allows faster restoration of functional properties and thereby reduces the time of treatment of patients.
