Цель - повышение эффективности работы за счет более тонкого распылени жидкости. Дл этого ороситель снабжен полым отражателем, соосно охватывающим часть винтового распылител по всей его длине без зазора. В результате удара струй об отражатель происходит интенсивный распад пленки на цилиндрические струи и возбуждение в них поперечных колебаний сравнительно высокой частоты.
