Abstract
FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: nonworking part of electrode embracing discharge gap is so connected to insulator that it forms circular flange inside discharge chamber to create ring gap together with insulator. Width d of gap and height h of flange are chosen from relation d/h ≅ 3, which prevents penetration of electric field into gap and excludes influence of contact of nonworking part of electrode on operational characteristics of discharger. EFFECT: prolonged service life of gas-filled discharger. 1 dwg
