Abstract

FIELD: construction of motor roads and engineering preparation of territory. SUBSTANCE: pulp is transported over a closed circuit: from suction-tube dredge 1 into hopper 4 where ground is extracted from pulp and retained to the required filling of the hopper. Clarified water is taken through pipes back into basin 2. After the first hopper 4 has been filled with ground, the supply of pulp is directed into the second hopper. If necessary, dried ground is carried to a dump or loaded into transport facilities. The device for realization of this method is comprised of suction-tube dredge 1 drawing ground from basin 2, pulp duct 3, hopper 4, pipeline 5 for returning clarified water into the basin, and cut-off devices 6 for shifting the supply of pulp to another hopper. The device may also be provided with a valve for admitting warm air into the hopper and a valve for discharging cooled air out of the hopper.
